And leading the way was Cristiano Ronaldo, who gushed that ‘the most important part of Christmas’ is family, as he shared a cosy snap with his girlfriend and children from Lapland.

They visited Santa Claus, while they were also spotted doing various activities in the snow, including what looked to be Ronaldo riding on a ski-doo.
However, the Portuguese superstar didn’t take part in one particular activity due to his position as a footballer.
This is because within players’ contracts, they are typically banned from extreme sports such as skiing, for fear of injury issues, with Ronaldo’s family instead trying out the winter sport.
Elsewhere on December 25, married couple Chrissy Teigan and John Legend are spending their Christmas Day in London.
The 38-year-old model and her singer husband, 45, also opted for matching pyjamas as they opened presents with their children.
Lizzie Cundy brought the glitz and glamour to the big day in a dramatic busty red and gold sequinned ballgown, as she wished her followers a Merry Christmas.
The TV personality, 56, looked incredible in the dazzling ensemble, as she posed up a storm on her staircase in front of a stunning tree.
