The House of Representatives has vowed to call for the dismissal of the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Mele Kyari, if he continues to work against the smooth operation of the Dangote Refinery.The Deputy Spokesman of the House, Philip Agbese, disclosed this on Saturday while briefing journalists in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
This comes as the Benue lawmaker stated that the legislative body has already expressed support for the call for the dismissal of the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Mr Farouk Ahmed.According to the All Progressives Congress legislator, the NNPCL and the NMDPRA have demonstrated their intention to work against the Dangote Refinery.He said, “We have been seeing many demarketing campaigns to discredit the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, and given the negative impact of this, which has caused panic in the country.
